Join us as we get ready to run the inaugural Dam to Des Moines! Over the course of 11 weeks the certified coaches and training experts at Fleet Feet Davenport will help prepare you for the half marathon distance. The program begins on March 19th and finishes on race day, June 1st. Worth noting is that Dam to Des Moines will be a 20k (12.4 miles). Whether this is your first longer distance race, or you want to improve there is a place for you. We will be meeting on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Our first meetup on March 19th will be focused on the plan outline, training goals, expectations, meeting your partners and mentors, and getting out for a shorter run together. Participation in Dam to Des Moines on June 1st will not be required, but is heavily encouraged! It will be a celebration!
